Kenny Langford’s Darwen have landed a plum draw in the second round of the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy after being paired with Southport.
The Salmoners will travel to Haig Avenue on November 13.
Holders Chorley head North to face Kendal Town in a repeat of last season’s final, on November 6 and the winners of the Nelson v Bacup Borough tie will travel to Radcliffe Borough.
The area’s other survivors Padiham also have an attractive draw and will play host to Lancaster City.
