LANCASHIRE'S County Championship match with Hampshire at Liverpool was delayed by heavy rain on Wednesday.
The four-day match at Aigburth was due to start at 11am - but when the players took lunch at 1pm, rain was still falling and the heavy covers remained on the square.
No inspection is scheduled at this stage.
