Chorley will have a 42-match season in the UniBond First Division North in 2009-10.

Leigh Genesis and Prescot Cables will be back down from the UniBond Premier Division and AFC Fylde, Vodkat North West Counties champions, will be in the First Division North for the first time.

Rossendale United, now run by ex-Chorley management pair John Hughes (one of the Magpie FA Cup heroes of 1986-7) and Mickey Graham, were spared relegation, so will be looking forward to revisiting their old club.
