Former Blackpool teenage defender Wayne Maden rejoined his old boss Steve Waywell this week as one of three experienced players recruited by the Chorley manager for next season.
Waywell has also brought in former Leigh midfielders Carl Brown and Andy Heald, who also played under his management previously. The Magpie team chief said: ³We have a squad of 13 or 14, with even more players expected to come along when we report for training on June 30.
³Wayne, Carl and Andy are all in their 20s and they have a lot of experience at non-league level.
“They want to come to Chorley and that¹s the sort of players we need here.² Maden had a squad number when he was at Blackpool under Steve McMahon in 2001 and he was at Hyde with Waywell last year.
