Lancashire can step to the brink of the knockout stages of the Twenty20 Cup tonight as thy look for a fifth straight win in the short format.

The Red Rose aces tackle a Derbyshire side captained by Old Trafford legend Stuart Law in tonight’s Old Trafford showdown in the North Division – and, with five games still to play after tonight, the knockout stages look a real possibility.

The game starts at 5.30pm but in-form batsman Francois du Plessis has warned: “As soon as you look at what’s going to happen too far ahead, you take your attention off everything else.”
