CHORLEY'S Michael Jennings bounced back from his loss to Miguel Cotto by stopping Northern Ireland's Willie Thompson in the fourth round tonight.
Jennings had suffered only the second defeat of his career in February when he was stopped by Cotto in the fifth round of their WBO world welterweight title fight.
But the Lurcher returned to action in Belfast tonight, on the undercard to Martin Rogan's heavyweight tussle with Sam Sexton, and secured a technical knock-out victory over the inexperienced Thompson in what had been scheduled to be a six-round bout.
