Chorley professional Friedel de Wet will miss the last two league matches of the season as he is returning to South Africa for a pre-season training camp at the start of September.
The pace bowler has taken 50 wickets so far this season as well as showing useful form with the bat.
He was unable to add to his tally last Saturday as Chorley's match with bottom club Fleetwood was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain along with the rest of the Northern Premier League programme.
Chorley are currently in seventh place in the table and travel to Lancaster on Saturday.
