Chorley will once again be without their leading run scorer Josh Tolley when travel to Carnforth on Saturday in a match which will set up an interesting clash between the team's two South African professionals.
Chorley's Friedel de Wet is the league's second highest wicket taker with 38 victims while the North Lancashire side's professional Ryan Bailey is the league's top run scorer with 808 runs.
Chorley have had two league points deducted for the second time this season, subject to appeal, for a slow over rate in last Saturday's game with Leyland.
