CHORLEY continue their push for the Vanarama Conference North play-offs when they travel to Leamington tonight.

Garry Flitcroft’s side are three points off the top five but will move level with Boston with a win.

And the Magpies boss believes the confidence gained from a fine 2-0 win away at Stockport County on Saturday can help fire them to a third straight win in all competitions.

“We’ve got to look forward to Tuesday night now,” said Flitcroft after the victory over the Hatters.

“We’ve had two great victories now and the team spirit is brilliant.

“We have just got to keep winning games.”

Flitcroft also revealed that he is keen to extend the stay of Chris Doyle from Morecambe while admitting Adam Scott, who returned from injury as a late substitute in the win at Stockport, could leave the club on loan.

On defender Doyle the Chorley chief said: “I will be speaking to JB and seeing if we can keep him.”

The Magpies boss added that he felt Scott could play an important role for the club in the run-in if a loan spell was to prove successful.

Of Scott’s future Flitcroft said: “We are looking at getting him out loan.

“He is a good player and he is raring to get going. Adam at full fitness will be a bonus for us come the end of the season.”

Elsewhere, Ramsbottom will hope to make it three games unbeaten when they host Barwell in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division.

Clitheroe host Spennymoor Town in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
