CHORLEY won their first Vanarama Conference North away game of the season 2-0 at Colwyn Bay on Tuesday evening.
A first half penalty from James Dean and fierce header from Paul Jarvis in the second half meant Chorley returned from North Wales with a victory after the last-minute heartbreak of conceding an injury time equlaiser in the season’ first game against Lowestoft last Saturday.
After 38 minutes Chris Almond was brought down the box and James Dean converted his second penalty in two games to leave the Magpies one up at the interval..
Immediately after the restart Adam Roscoe went close with a header as Chorley strived for more goals.
The win was sealed when Dodd crossed for Jarvis who scored a bullet header from deep inside the box.
