Buckshaw village clean-up day

Households in Buckshaw Village took advantage of a community clean up day to rid themselves of their unwanted rubbish.
Chorley Council joined forces with South Ribble Council to provide skips in two locations so residents from the whole village could make use of them.
More than five tonnes of waste was dumped in the skips and taken away, including a shed which was no longer wanted by the resident.
The event was supported by Lancashire Fire and Rescue and the local policing team.
