Japanese students on visit

Japanese students visited the Bergman Osterberg Physical Education Centre, with Bergman Osterberg members Sheila Cutler and Betty Lewis. The centre was set up in 1895 by Madam Osterberg to train women in physical education. The 25 students belong to the Japan College of Physical Education, founded by Tokuyo Nikaido, a former student who attended Madam Osterberg's school in 1913. The group was given a tour of the buildings which existed in Tokuyo Nikaido's time and shown photographs of their founder.
