A house in Garston was badly damaged by fire on Saturday evening.
Firefighters were called to the semi-detached house, in Crown Rise, at about 6.15pm when flames consumed a first floor bedroom and spread to the roof.
Four fire crews and an aerial ladder platform were dispatched to tackle the blaze, which was quickly brought under control.
Nobody was hurt and it is believed nobody was in at the time.
