A new guide for the city’s orbital bus route has been launched this week.
The Orbit Leisure Guide, produced by the county council, shows attractions such as museums, places to eat and drink and sports venues, along the 17-mile route.
The bus service, operated by Preston Bus, runs seven days a week, every 15 minutes at times, both clockwise and anti-clockwise.
County Coun Matthew Tomlinson, Cabinet member for sustainable development, said: “The guide gives plenty of ideas to keep the whole family busy during the summer holidays, such as the family friendly walks and many other interesting places to visit. Or if you just fancy a scenic ride, then why not stay on the bus for the 17-mile round trip.”
Pick up a copy of the guide from Preston bus station, local libraries, tourist or county information centres. It can also be downloaded from www.transportforlancashire.com
