South Ribble Borough Council and the local Children’s Partnership Board have complied a list of events and designed a guide which is now available across the borough.

Councillor Phil Smith, South Ribble Borough Council cabinet member with responsibility for Regeneration and Leisure said: “Across South Ribble council officers and various other organisations have been busy preparing events to keep our residents entertained over the summer.

“From school holiday camps to family fun days and wildlife activities, there’s so much for all ages to get involved with in the coming months.

“It’s fantastic to see so many health walks in the guide too as I know they’re well attended and they’re great for people of all ages to get active whilst taking in the beauty of our borough.”

Every primary school pupil will be sent home with a guide and senior schools also have copies available.

Libraries and leisure centres across South Ribble have the events guides for residents to pick up and they’re also available from the Civic Centre.

However, if you can’t get a hard copy of the guide, an online copy can be found on our website by visiting www.southribble.gov.uk
