A 51-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Lancashire care worker.
Phillip Ellison was stabbed to death at a house in Preston.
Robert Searle, of Glebe Close, Preston, was charged with murder this afternoon and will appear before Preston Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Police were called to Glebe Close, Fulwood shortly before 11.30am on Monday, April 7.
The premises are managed by Lancashire Social Services as a residential care home for adults with mental health issues.
On arrival they discovered the body of Mr Ellison, 47, inside the house. He had suffered a number of stab wounds and died at the scene.
