Prom night for Chorley school leavers

The school leavers from Southlands High School in Chorley enjoyed their prom night at Haigh Hall in Wigan last weekend.
One hundred and seventy pupils, dressed in their finery, arrived at the historic hall in number white and pink limousines.
They enjoyed a buffet and various casino tables before dancing the night away.
Headteacher Mark Fowle said: "The students were a delight to be with and we had a very enjoyable evening. The reality set in this week as we began the long exam season."
