A Chorley woman has loaned pictures of her grandfather during the First World War to an exhibition planned for next month.
Blackburn Library and Museum is now calling for other people to take in their First World War memorabilia for the exhibition.
The event aims to mark the end of the Great War by gathering memories of how it touched the lives of local people.
Pamela Green, of Wheelton, has given photographs of her grandfather Joe Haworth, who was enlisted in 1915 into the 3rd East Lancashire Regiment.
He later joined the 112 Machine Gun Corps and was taken a prisoner of war in 1917 in Ypres.
