Motorcyclist dies in M65 crash

A MOTORCYCLIST died close to junction five of the M61 at Brindle after crashing in to barriers in the central reservation of the motorway.

The man, who has not been named, was travelling on the northbound carriageway when the fatal accident happened at 9pm yesterday.

According to police, drivers who witnessed crash said he was travelling at high speed when the lost control of the motorcycle.

How do you know he was going too fast? It could well have been a mechanical failure - bikes don't usually just lose control on their own, no matter what speed you're travelling.
