Astley Park routes to close for £2m upgrade

Visitors to Chorley's Astley Park are being advised of closures in the coming weeks as work on the £2m upgrade nears completion.
Certain routes through the park will be closed to allow workmen to resurface the main driveways.
Between Monday, May 19, and Friday, May 23, the approach from the main gates will be closed up to the pavilion/changing rooms on the playing fields.
Both the Queen's Road and Rectory Close entrances will also be blocked off but there will still be access from the Ackhurst entrance through to Astley Village.
