Street soccer programme for Euxton youngsters

Chorley Community Housing’s street soccer programme is launching in Euxton next week.

The Friday night programme aimed at children of all ages will be running at Greenside, Euxton starting at 6pm on Friday, February 4.

The scheme is supervised by registered soccer coach Paul Maloney and is designed to encourage children to take part in sport whilst also giving them the opportunity to talk to trained counsellors about any issues they might want to discuss.

CCH said the programme has resulted in less anti-social-behaviour on its estates.
