Police are linking three incidents of criminal damage and burglary after spree of vandalism in the early hours of Saturday, March 7.
The International Fire training centre at Washington Hall, Euxton Cricket Club and the Tesco filling station, all within close proximity, were targeted between 12.30am and 3.45am.
A window at the control centre of the fire training centre was damaged and panel of a greenhouse smashed by what police suspect were fire extinguisher canisters.
Two canisters were found nearby on Southport Road after their contents had been discharged. They had been taken earlier in the evening from the Tesco filling station.
At 3.45am an alarm was activated at the clubhouse of Euxton Cricket Club after a window on a patio door was smashed.
Police believe the culprits reached through the door and dragged through a large plant pot smashing and it and its contents.
A patio heater and benches were also damaged. An empty crate of strong lager was found nearby.
