Skippers Fish and Chips in Euxton will be serving up 99p portions of Norwegian cod and chips on Saturday May 17 to celebrate Norway Day.

The Norwegian Seafood Council is working in partnership with 99 fryers across the UK to offer fish and chip.

A total of 16 tonnes of cod has been gifted to the 99 shops, including Skippers.

Andrew Cook from Skippers, said: “We are so pleased to be taking part in this annual celebration. Fish and chips are a firm favourite in Euxton; I know that our customers will enjoy the delicious Norwegian cod and chips on offer.”

99p fish and chips are being served by chippies in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian constitution and nine shops in the North West will be participating.
