A SERIES of shows, songs and stories will be heading for village halls and libraries across East Lancashire this Autumn.
Spot On Lancashire have announced 42 shows will be played in 34 different village halls and libraries across the county on September 23.
The opening show will see the return of virtuoso classical guitarist, Howard Haigh, to the Spot On network at Padiham Library for a 2pm show.
All shows have been brought to the county by Spot On Lancashire, supported with funding from Arts Council England and Lancashire County Council.
Speaking ahead of the season’s launch, Spot On’s Lyndsey Wilson said: “This season’s programme focuses on storytelling and we’re really pleased that we can bring such a wealth of fascinating stories and voices to Lancashire.
"We’re delighted to nurture home-grown talent and to welcome international artists from Canada and India. Once again it’s a lineup that we believe offers something for everyone with plenty of opportunity to try something new.
"We can’t wait to get started."
