A MAN who broke into three schools and stole laptops and cash has been sent to crown court for sentencing.
Burnley Magistrates heard Cy Newton Holt, 25, broke into Stoneyholme CP School in Oswald Street, Burnley, on October 17 and stole a laptop and petty cash with a combined monetary value of £2,000.

On the same day he broke into the Burnley Campus in Barden Lane, Burnley, and stole a £1,000 Toshiba laptop.
On November 21 Holt, of Sandhurst Street in Burnley, stole two laptops worth a total of £1,000 and £30 cash from White Ash School in Accrington.
Holt admitted to three charges of theft and was sent to Burnley Crown Court in custody to be sentenced on December 23.
Meanwhile Holt has been jailed for four weeks after admitting to stealing a safe containing cash, a bank card, an engagement ring belonging to Donna Rawstron in Nelson on June 23.
Holt also stole an iPad during the raid.
