A 28-YEAR-OLD fitness trainer has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with blackmailing a female police officer over a brief liaison they had together.
Kyle Anthony Bent, of Brindley House, Elmira Way, Salford, is charged with blackmailing the police officer by making an unwarranted demand for £500 with menaces.
He was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court where he will appear on November 28.
