THREE more celebrities have been confirmed for this year’s Soccer Six football tournament in Burnley.

A host of famous names will descend on Turf Moor next month for the popular event, which is taking place in the town for the second time.

Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowell, Star of MTV’s Ex on the Beach Ashley Cain and Game of Thrones’ actress Kerry Ingram are the most recent names to join the ever-growing list which will be competing to win the trophy on Sunday, May 17.

They join the already confirmed chart toppers Rudimental, TV personality Joey Essex, stars from ITV 2’s Ibiza Weekender, Helen Wood, Mark Byron, Ash Harrison, and Winston Showan from Big Brother.

They will be joined by stars from Coronation Street, X-Factor, I’m a Celebrity, Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road and Eastenders, along with up-and-coming music acts and bands, social media stars and many many more.

This summer will see the Soccer Six event celebrating its 20th anniversary.

A spokesman for Soccer Six said: “Soccer Six is the biggest celebrity football tournament in the world.

“A host of famous faces will descend on Turf Moor to battle it out and see who will be crowned this year’s Soccer Six champion.

“Soccer Six showcases some of the best talent from the worlds of music, sport, TV and film that the UK has to offer.

“Soccer Six also gives lucky fans the chance to meet their idols.

“The day is rounded off with a handful of the players taking to the Soccer Six: LIVE stage to perform a gig for the VIP ticket holders.”

Tickets remain on sale for this year’s extravaganza at £15 for adults and £10 for under 10s, with a family ticket for two adults and three under 12s priced at £50.
