A LECTURE on Gawthorpe Hall and the First World War is to be given in Padiham.
The talk at the town’s Nazareth Unitarian Church, in Church Street, is organised by the Pendle Forest Association and will be delivered by Rachel Pollit de Duran, Gawthorpe Hall’s museum manager.
It will include information on the Kay-Shuttleworth family from diaries and letters.
Entry to the session, which takes place on October 14 from 7.30pm, costs £1 for PFA members and £2 for non-members.
Refreshments will be provided after the lecture.
