JUSTIN Bieber made a perfect present for one of his biggest fans.

A life-sized cut-out of the 19-year-old superstar has taken pride of place in the bedroom of seven-year-old Aaliyah Hargreaves after she won a raffle set up by The Fragrance Shop, in Market Walk, Chorley.

Justin has also brought some much needed sunshine into the life of Aaliyah’s mum, Sarah Jane, who has seen five-year-old handicapped son Alex go into hospital recently for a brain operation.

The family were able to put their cares behind them when they went to the shop to collect the life-sized cut-out. To promote the new Justin Bieber perfume, the Key, branches of The Fragrance Shop each received a cut-out of the Canadian singer.

Kirsty Oliver, assistant manager at the store, decided to make better use of Justin at the end of the promotion, rather than dump him in the stock-room. Head office gave permission to raffle the 5ft 7ins cardboard Justin, in aid of Rays of Sunshine children’s charity.

Sarah Jane, 25, said: “Aaliyah is such a fan, this is great. I took her to Manch- ester to see a Justin Bieber concert in February last year as a Christmas present. She has every one of his CDs and her bedroom walls are covered in posters and photographs of him.

“She even has Justin Bieber clothes, necklaces, and make-up. She couldn’t wait to come and collect him!”

Single mum Sarah Jane’s son Alex, who attends Mayfield School, in Chorley, was born at 26 weeks with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and hydroc-ephalus which required the insertion of a shunt. He has already endured five operations and had to go back to hospital recently when his shunt bec- ame blocked.

“Winning Justin has cheered us all up,” said Sarah Jane.
