FIVE men have been charged with various drugs and money laundering offences after police executed a series of warrants at addresses in Chorley, Coppull and South Ribble yesterday.
Richard Darbyshire, 27, of Regents Way, Euxton has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug and money laundering.
Jason Furmedge, 38, of Chorley Lane, Charnock Richard has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug and money laundering.
Paul Baxter, 33, of Roberts Court, Leyland has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug and possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
Barry Hastewell, 33 of Meadow Reach, Penwortham has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug, possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of a weapon.
John Speakman, 36, of Spendmore Lane, Coppull has been charged with money laundering.
A 32 year old woman from Charnock Richard is also on police bail on suspicion of money laundering.
Furmedge, Hastewell and Darbyshire have been remanded to Chorley Magistrates Court on 3rd May while Speakman and Baxter have been released on police bail until the same date.
Neighbourhood policing teams patrolled the respective areas throughout informing residents about the police activity.
