Coppull band retains top title

After recently retaining their national title at the Butlins Mineworkers Championships, Coppull and Standish Band have won again in their most recent competition.
They won the fourth section in the Guild Brass Band Championship held at Preston Guild Hall.
The band’s principal cornet player Tim Galloway also collected the best soloist award.
