Environmental charity seeks views on River Douglas
4:27pm Wednesday 26th September 2012 in Chorley
Environmental regeneration charity Groundwork is seeking the views of people living in the catchment area of the River Douglas.
The area covered includes towns such as Chorley, Adlington, Horwich, and Leyland.
The health of the waters in the Douglas catchment area is increasingly recognised as important for wildlife and for people so any individuals interested in the area, or organisations that may be carrying out work that affects the River Douglas or its tributaries, are urged to contact Groundwork soon.
Consultations are being arranged in the area and views may be sent in via a questionnaire from Groundwork at 01942 821444 or on-line at www.groundwork.org.uk.
