Parking restrictions are being proposed on Preston Road and Back Lane in Whittle-le-Woods and Clayton-le-Woods.
They aim to discourage inconsiderate parking near to junctions.
The proposed 'No waiting at anytime' restrictions to the south sides of the Back Lane and Bankside junction will make it an offence to park on the road or footway in this area.
