A group of three men entered a Clayton Brook pub and started attacking people with pieces of wood and clubs.
The incident happened shortly before 10pm on Sunday at the Clayton Brook public house, when the gang started attacking three groups of people.
Around 20 people were involved in the brawl, with three suffering minor head injuries.
A 22-year-old man from the Preston area was arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
