PAUL Weller will be playing King George's Hall, Blackburn, as part of a 14-date tour next March.
The gigs see Paul playing a more varied selection of towns across the UK than the usual run of arenas and the singer will also be special guest of The Who at Hyde Park on June 26.
Having split up The Jam at the height of their powers in 1982 after six era-defining albums, Paul Weller spent the rest of the 80s challenging pop convention with The Style Council, releasing five albums during their eclectic career.
Going on to forge a solo career in the early 90s, he was reinstalled as the pre-eminent songwriter of his generation with a total of 11 solo albums to his name.
Paul's as yet unnamed 12th studio album will be released in the spring.
Tickets are £38 and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
