CHORLEY fire crews were called to Lower Barn in Rivington at 10.30pm last night after a Rover MG crashed into a tree.
Three people were inside the vehicle but only two managed to free themselves from the car that had flipped upside down following the collision.
Firefighters used special cutting tools to cut through the back of the car and free the person still inside, fearing he may have spinal injuries.
All three people were treated at the scene by paramedics and referred to Chorley hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
