Community groups in Charity receive grants

Four groups from Chorley have received grants from a bank’s community awards.

The 2013 Lloyds Bank Community Fund, which aims to help local people have a positive impact in their communities, announced the results after 2.3 million votes were cast by the public.

Derian House Children’s Hospice and the Living Waters Storehouse will be receiving £3,000 each, with Appley Bridge School of Gymnastics and The Legacy Rainbow House both set to collect £300.
