Evening reading groups are taking place at a bookshop.
Ebb and Flo bookshop, in Gillibrands Street, Chorley, is holding get-togethers between 7pm and 8pm on selected Thursdays.
Two reading groups meet in the shop discuss a different book voted for by the group.
Previous choices include Patrick Gale’s Notes from an Exhibition, Iain Banks’s Espedair St and Mark Haddon’s The Red House. Upcoming meetings take place on September 19 and 26 to discuss The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.
October meetings are on Thursday, October 17 and 24, to discuss The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce.
