Golf taster session

A taster session for potential golfers aged 50 and over has been organised.
The council’s Active Generation project has set up a golf for beginners session which is free for people aged 50-plus on Wednesday, January 16.
It’s being held at the Euxton Park Golf Centre in Euxton Lane, using the latest in technology.
The centre’s teaching bay has a simulator that accurately tracks the ball so participants can ‘play’ on any course and improve your game, and there will also be a golf professional on hand to give advice and coaching.
People can attend the free session from 10am – noon.
