Views on Adlington's heritage sought

A community group in Adlington is calling on residents to help with a project that could merge the village’s past with its present.

Adlington and District Millennium Committee is producing a booklet of the heritage of the area, but which also provides up-to-date information for local residents.

The group is hoping local people put forward their ideas for the booklet to be called A Moment in Time and which will cover Adlington, Anderton and Heath Charnock.

Anyone interested can drop in to Adlington Library on Railway Road on Friday, September 24, between 2pm and 4pm and enjoy a cuppa and a cake and share their ideas.
