Police have released images of a man they wish to speak to following a burglary at Bargain Booze on Bolton Road, Adlington

A man entered the shop on Wednesday November 25 at approximately 8pm.

Whilst staff were distracted he is believed to have leant over the counter and taken approximately £220 in cash from the till before making off on foot along Bolton Road towards Chorley.

PC Matt Lee Community Beat Manager said: "We are appealing to anyone who recognised the man in the CCTV to get in contact.

"We are also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.

"The shop is on a busy road and it is likely that someone may have seen a man matching this description enter or exit the shop.”

The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 7in tall, medium build with short dark brown hair. He was clean shaven and wearing glasses.
