Chorley police have released CCTV of of a man they would like to speak to in connection the theft of petrol from Adlington Motor Services on Market Street, Adlington.
The incident occurred on Monday, October 12 at 6.41pm.
The front seat passenger filled up a car with £54.77 of unleaded petrol before getting back into the rear seat of the car, which then made off without payment.
PC Jay Percy from Chorley police said: "We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the car or the passenger responsible for filling the car with fuel to contact us."
