A couple found dead in two separate Lancashire homes are believed to have worked at a chip shop in Adlington.
A major investigation is under way after the body of a 51-year-old man and his partner, 47, were found dead in their homes on Monday.
The man was found by police inside a car in the garage on Church Lane, Farington Moss, near Leyland.
Later the same day, the woman was found in her flat on Mark Close, Penwortham.
An initial post-mortem examination showed the man may have died after inhaling exhaust fumes and that the woman ‘showed no obvious signs of injuries’.
