A 20-year-old man involved in a head-on crash suffered deep wounds in both legs.

A Toyota Yaris and a Bentley Continental crashed in Chorley Road between Blackrod and Adlington, near the Cherry Tree Pub, at about 4.35pm on Tuesday, February 4.

The man driving the Toyota suffered deep cuts in both knees and a facial injury.

The driver of the Bentley, a 46-year-old man, was taken to hospital with suspected neck injuries.

Firefighters from Horwich cut the Toyota driver from the car.
