Roisin Conaty, a former winner the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Festival is performing at Chorley Little Theatre on Saturday, March 23.

Conaty, 33, won the award in 2010 for her show Hero, Warrior, Fireman, Liar, becoming one of only five women ever to win to pick up the accolade.

She later took the show to the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Last year she starred in the BBC's British adaptation of hidden camera-practical joke reality television series Impractical Jokers alongside Paul McCaffrey, Joel Dommett and Marek Larwood.

She has also performed alongside Victoria Wood, Jo Brand, Andi Osho, Isy Suttie and Katy Brand on the Angina Monologues for Sky Television took part in David Walliams' 24 Hour Panel People for Comic Relief.

Tickets for the performance, which will begin at 7.30pm are available from Malcolm’s Musicland on Chapel Street.
