Two pensioners competed in an international golf competition at the weekend.
Arnold Almond, from Whittle-le-Woods and Jim McCullough, from Leyland, competed in the Audi Quattro UK Cup Final at the Bowood Golf and Country Club near Calne, Wiltshire.
Arnold, 69, and playing partner Jim, 66, finished 18th.
The competition is the world’s largest amateur golf competition with almost 80,000 players from more than 50 countries competing for a place in the week-long world final.
