Muck spread to stop youth drinking

An operation to prevent youths from Leyland St Mary’s High School gathering to drink and set fires in a field near the M6 has been declared a success.

Neighbourhood police and fire officials have worked with a local farmer and muck has now been spread there to prevent students congregating.
