Chorley churches mark heritage event

Heritage Open Days will be held at three Chorley churches this weekend.
St George’s Church, right, is open Friday 10am to 1pm, 3pm to 4pm, and Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
There will be short talks and guided tours about the history of the “Waterloo” church and an opportunity to appreciate Thomas Rickman’s hammer beam roof and Stephen Adam’s west window.
St Laurence’s will be open from 10 am to noon Friday and Saturday. The Unitarian Chapel will be open from noon on Saturday.
