'Three burglaries are connected'

Police are connecting three burglaries which took place within hours of each other.
All three break-ins happened during daylight hours on the afternoon of Thursday, July 26.
In Blackburn Road, Chorley, between 11.15am and 4.30pm a rear window of a bungalow was smashed before a small safe was taken containing cash and sunglasses valued at £850.
In the same period a glass door was smashed at a house in Blackburn Brow before jewellery valued at £1,500 was taken.
At around 2.30pm an insecure upstairs window at a house in Harvest Drive, Whittle-le-Woods, was the access point for a thief who took £921 of jewellery.
