Your chance to shape health services
12:50pm Thursday 14th June 2012 in News
NHS Chorley and South Ribble Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is looking to appoint two public representatives to its governing body.
The CCG is looking for two lay members who will have a lead role in either governance or public and patients involvement to devote around two days a month to governing body responsibilities.
Dr Gora Bangi, chair of NHS Chorley and South Ribble CCG, said: “The lay members who sit on the CCG board will have a real input into shaping the services we buy.”
Chorley and South Ribble has a clinical commissioning group that covers 31 practices with a population of 170,000. It will work closely with NHS Preston CCG.
For an informal discussion, call Dr Gora Bangi, chair of NHS Chorley and South Ribble CCG on 01772 678078.
The roles will be described as ‘designate’ until the CCG is established and authorised by the NHS Commissioning Board Authority. The closing date is 12 noon on July 6.
